Canvas accepts academic work pertaining to Art History and Communication Theory on a rolling basis. All submissions must be written by an undergraduate student for a class at McGill, have received a grade of A- or higher, and be maximum 20 pages in length. In keeping with McGill University’s language mandate, we accept submissions in both French and English. If you are interested in submitting an essay, please email it as a Word doc. attachment to email@example.com.
All submissions will be accepted and published online on a rolling basis, before being considered for the annual print journal, published in late March/early April. Accepted submissions will additionally be considered for presentation at the annual Canvas Undergraduate Colloquium, which jointly serves to launch the print journal and highlight exemplary undergraduate research.
